Which license do I need?

Draft is the captain’s tool: solo captain and free contractor guests, one vessel, $250/mo. Draft Professional adds your crew and up to 10 vessels — $400/mo for the first vessel, then $200/mo for each additional. Contractors never need a license or a seat — guest links are free and unlimited on both.

How many people can I invite?

On Draft, nobody — it’s you and your contractors. On Draft Professional, up to 20 invited people across your vessels, each seated as a decision maker, a participant, or an observer — a participant posts updates and raises changes, and your office can hold a free observer seat. Contractors don’t count against the cap; labels (like “Chief Engineer”) are yours to set, but approval authority is granted by whoever runs the refit.

Do I need a license to look at my record?

No. A license is needed to set up a vessel and run changes; reading and exporting your record is never gated — including after you cancel.

How do approvals work?

The captain who runs the refit holds approval authority by default and can approve freely. They can choose to cap their own limit, or route every approval to the office instead — always the captain’s own opt-in, never imposed from outside. Every change is raised, priced, and decided by a named person under that authority. Draft AI drafts and structures — it never prices, approves, or decides.

What is LOA verification?

A trust mark on the vessel’s record: the declared length is cross-checked and operator-reviewed. It’s not required to buy — it exists so the record you keep (and may hand to a buyer or new management) is credible.

How does WhatsApp intake work?

Each refit gets a join link/QR; a contractor taps it, and their messages land as structured drafts a human confirms into the record. Nothing enters the record unratified.

What does the attendance QR do with location?

When someone checks in at the gangway, the page asks the browser for location and compares it to the vessel’s pinned position; only a status (verified / out of range / unavailable) and a distance are stored — raw coordinates are discarded immediately, and declining never blocks a check-in. See our privacy policy for details.

What happens if a payment fails?

Notice, then a long grace window (30 days’ notice + 60 days’ grace). Nothing is ever silently deleted, and export stays available throughout.

Who sees what?

Contractors see only their own package — never project money or other contractors. Owner/office, captain, and member lenses see the same record with role-appropriate controls.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — the license runs to the end of the paid month and stops. Your record stays readable and exportable, permanently. See our terms for details.
